Filtering bits out

Postby Jakejohn » Tue Jul 12, 2016 4:29 pm

Is it ok to use a coffee filter in my funnel after I have carbon filtered my spirit ? Just to get rid of some bits that were in the bottle I put my spirit in.

Yeah absolutely fine. Coffee filters can sometimes be a bit slow. I also use a wet [clean] flannel as a filter occasionally too.

First of all welcome to the forum JJ... ;)

No problem with using a coffee paper...as Mash as said.

Tell us a wee bit more about your kit and what wash have you run.
