I have found cherry wood to give better flavour in 6 months than oak in 3 years ,unfortunately I keep running out of cherry aged brandy.

Snap Mash lovely flavour. Good for poultry.
I recon it might age a drop of Rum quite
nicely.

Any activity in his part of the world would be cold this time of year.....

Just a question tho' could I use wood from someone else's apple tree??

I'm sure the foodie section on here has a pic of my set-up, basically a dustbin with a few drilled holes and a smoke generator.
Not Rocket science.

Have a weber smokey mountain, apple is my fav, might just try it in my appla brandy madee from cider :)
