Scotch eggs.

Postby Icefever » Tue May 12, 2015 11:28 am

While we have the food folder open.....who makes their own Scotch eggs??

My good lady has to make about 4 at a time for our local butcher, she does chilli ones, plain ones..he won't have any others. Then she barters with him, we've had Ox cheeks, pigs cheeks, lamb shanks....it's a great way to do business.

All she does is add crushed chilli flakes, or use the sweet chilli sauce...mixed in the sausage meat...it's got to be good quality meat.

Go for it John...just think, a scotch egg, pickled egg and a pint of your own ale. Image

Good as it gets, especially combined with fresh bread now being made.
