How many UK South v UK north do we have on here?

I'm as south as you can get without being in the sea or in France!

Just wondering!

Where is your line across the middle? I once dated a London girl & north to her was anything above Watford gap!

We are in the center of England...not far from Meriden that's been traditionally known as the centre of England.
Back in 2002 Ordnance Survey (OS), using global satellite positioning, redetermined the “geographical centre of England” as being 11 miles north of Meriden, at Lindley Hall Farm, Fenny Drayton, close to the Warwickshire border.

Well to be honest, I consider London to be north. But for this I guess I'd leave it up to whatever the individual considers north or south

I am a 400 mile drive North of London, how can London be North?,there are a fair few miles of Scotland north of me....

Lands End to John o' Groats is reputed to be 603 miles.

I suspect as the crow flies, not as the car drives, using motorways!

Anyway, I is certainly North.

Robert.

As it seems to be me and thee at the moment, who knows?
And speaking of this in snippets and sly asides may well be the way to garner interest :)

I have a sibling flying in from the US this summer, who thinks it odd that I should then drive 350 miles for an evenings catch up.
As they say in that part of the world "Go figure"

Yer right there.East of Hastings is peopled by Danes, West of Bournemouth is peopled by Irish and Americans, North of Gatwick ? there be devils in skirts :o ;) ;D

And both Meridian and BBC South are wrong, Reading is north of M4 so it's Midlands, and at the same time, if you watch the telly at "Silvies Truck stop" (between Swindon and Chippenham) it gets the info/progs from Bristol which is closer than Southampton, ergo West Country.........

I would say I am towards the East in the middle of England,
can't see the Northern lights, so not in the North, it's very flat no hills here.
