Ok here's the thing is there actually anything stopping me using a really clean Vodka Star wash as a base for a Snappes you see just got the wash done and this time it's really real clean and very very minimum on smell even tastes clean and neutral so I decided not to distill a liter of it and just add a butterscotch snappes and the sugar pack to it then I thought wait a minute is it safe to drink like that?? I figured in fairness surely it's just wine without the flavours in fact when I did brew wine I had wine that tasted vile in comparison to this wash lolololol any advice???

The simple answer is no - there's nothing stopping you using it as is! You're right it is basically a very, very poor quality wine with relatively high alcohol and little or no flavour but that's not all it is.

Consider this, a wash designed specifically for distillation has many things in it that are intended to be removed by the distillation process, or more correctly left behind for disposal and as such those things are not intended for drinking - probably give you a right belly-ache or worse but I'm sure there will be a few people who will jump in here to tell how they drink their wash all the time.

If you really want to try this route can I suggest using a wine yeast such as EC-1118 which is a Champagne Yeast along with a Yeast Bomb (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=663) that will give you a much cleaner, neutral tasting result that you can flavour properly. Alternatively, if your VS wash is really clean & clear you could try putting it through a proper carbon filter and then adding flavour - might work

The turbo's are just yeast and nutrients, the problem is you don't know what they are using for nutrients.

I make my own nutrient mix that contains epsom salts (would give you the shits), as well as fertiliser that might upset your stomach. All of these are left in the boiler so not a problem, I'll give it a little sip but I wouldn't want to drink a pint of it.

I think there is a good chance you wouldn't have any problems, but the short answer is I doubt anyone really knows.
