Turbo clear problem
Help!
Only doing my second wash and I've put part B in first, is it all ruined or is there a clever get out. Hope someone can advise.

Re: Turbo clear problem
Hi Thesparky all is not lost the cold with time will clear this wash i have never (touch wood) done this with the finings. you could try adding the part a and see if it settles the dregs other than that just wait or even start a fresh with new finings ive done double fining with wine and know that works
hope this helps
cheers

Re: Turbo clear problem
The finings sort of bind the yeast cells to them and therefore make them heavier and they sink to the bottom. That's why you don't stir them too hard when you put them in - if you did you'd break those chains. So, if you've done it the wrong way round it probably won't work too well (though it might, let us know!) but you certainly haven't wrecked anything - another pack of finings in the correct order would do the trick, and billmcc is correct that it will clear in time anyway, especially if cold. There are even things online about clearing with egg-white if you're feeling totally adventurous though I haven't tried them. Good luck!

Re: Turbo clear problem
Cheers both, I've put part a in now and I'll post what happens (if anything) otherwise its a trip to my friendly local supplier. Silly mistakes made when over tired.
Thanks for the advice.
