Yup. It make a huge difference on my braumeister.

Better temp controll - less 2 bob bits in the meter

I like the foil bubble wrap for insulation, then a wrap of pvc tape to make it wipe down and if you use black tape, it looks like the sort of still batman would have
If you peel the rubber band down you can tuck it under an make it look quite smart.

well i did it hope this is ok to you guys tastes. i used a Aldi Camping mat i think it worked out ok

Silvery camping mats are superb! Good choice.
I use them 3-4 of them over a couple leccy blankets for winemaking.
