Yes steam cleaning just means running with water in the boiler to clean everything. Nothing to buy there.

That's correct ant.
By steam cleaning I just meant - charge the boiler with clean water and boil to blast steam through the vapour path.

Would running a vinegar/water wash then head wash through a new pot still work to clean it and get rid of the metallic taste?
