Still spirits Schnapps base
Hi all.
I have just gone to make a batch of apple schnapps from Still spirits range, But have no Schnapps base left ??
I have asked on here before- (But only bases A B & C)
The Lovley Ellie Claire informed me !
BUT Are ALL the SS Bases the same- just different weights/amounts.
Base A 220g
Base B 300g
Base C 320g
Schnapps 300g
Cream 400g
All the A B & C Taste exactly the same, but no schnapps left to tase, & Dont want to open a new Cream base just to taste lol- or waste as the case maybe
I assume that the A,B, C & Schnapps are the same. But the cream is different ?
Or am i way of the mark ?
I am almost certain A B & C are the same ! but unsure about Schnapps or cream bases
Does anyone know if the Schnapps base is the same as the A B or C bases ?
If not i will just have go and get another load of the Schnapps Base.
As always
Thanks
Fellow brewers/distillers !!!

Still spirits Schnapps base
I asked this a while ago and was told that all bases ABC are the same, it was just the weight and can confirm that I have used the heaviest and cut it down as the lightest and had good results. They were all the same price and after a few mixtures you end up with a \"free\" one.
HOWEVER - Schnapps and cream are different I think but could never find out what was in the Schnapps one
I did get an email from a company who gave me an alternative when using still spirits though but this was for Butterscotch Schnapps here it is: (not sure what spirits smoother is though)
Butterscotch Schnapps 22% 275ml Ethanol at 92% Makes 1125ml
In a large jug
add 180 ml Sugar
add 100 ml Liquid Glucose
add 5 ml Spirit Smoother
top up to 800 ml with Boiling Water
wait until sugar is dissolved and liquid is cool
top up to 1075 ml with 92% Ethanol
add 50 ml Butterscotch Schnapps Flavour
