Perhaps it's because all the info on this thread has worked so if it's working don't fix it. Proof I get a consistant 93% ABV. and if your into statistics my efficiency from wash to final spirit is 78 -80% efficient. ie max amount of alcohol per kilo of sugar is 625 ML. I'm saving 475-500 ML of good stuff per run.
So that say's leave the thread up for newcomers to benefit.

I'm still using my reflux (although as a pot still) but in reflux mode I've pretty much pimped it as far as you can!!

Jimmy did you see the price the reflux still went for £200 only £30 less than when new.but its half the price of the turbo 500 and works nearly as well so horses for courses
