What I Did Today

It is indeed a terrible situation to find oneself in,

Re: What I Did Today
I fitted a new seal to my AirStill. Judging by the colour of the inside of the old one, this may have been overdue!
Cheers

Re: What I Did Today
Apparently you cannot turn up to a concert in Glasgow while singing songs about pixies.
Tonight they refused my entry three times over a 90 minute period.
Drunk? Me, Sir! No, Sir!
When they did allow me in, I was able to jump around like a demented Muppet.
Go figure.
Great night out, courtesy of Colonel Mustard once again.
Robert.

Did the same to mine last week. The inside edge was going hard.
The whole thing like yours was changing colour.

Re: What I Did Today
Busy day, had a very late shower tonight, and didn't bother to put on a shirt before bed.
Walked past a mirror or two, flexed a few muscles and smugly thought 'Not bad for an old man'.
Sat in front of laptop, looked down, and thought, oh fuckety!
Robert.

Re: What I Did Today
Just pulled the trigger and ordered a T500! Wooo with a large dollop of hoo!
I went for the copper reflux column for no reason other than it looks prettier than the ss one. Since my aim is ultimately to produce some single malt type of firewater, I'll be fabbing a copper pot head in time following mostly vino' plans.
Right a visit to Wilkos tomorrow I think for a fermenting tub and valves and siphon etc

Re: What I Did Today
Made some AG beer yesterday - thought I might leave it in the utility room as it a bit cooler. Good choice - came down this morning to a full on foam over. Quatermass and the Pit - all over place.
Its started ok then....

Re: What I Did Today
Dont you just love it when a plan comes together.
Worst I have had so far is a Rum Wash or should I say three
go on High speed carpet vomit.
Its the unstable element that misbehaves ie the Molasses.
That explodes if you let it get warm.

I learned the hard way that solid floor vomit is easier to clean up.
