I've never seen 5kg bags at Asda...I get mine from Tesco at £2:85.

A quick bit of maths shows that to be a little dearer than necessary for a 5kg bag.......
Most recently it's been about 42p per kg in the local pound stretcher in 1kg bags..........
Though I have noticed that the 5kg bags working out more that just getting 1kg bags of late........

I know mate I've come to the same conclusion...it's just I have about 4x5kg bags in the cupboard under the stairs. I think it's time to follow in my fellow stillers foot steps and take a hike to one of the buget shops.

Purely by accident, it's the second closest to me. I can even walk it if I want to mess about carting 30 kg or so back (but I'm too lazy and use the car)......

What a nice gift for someone that likes "posh Lemonade".
Even better when you volunteer to recycle the empties for them!

Saw these for those needing ferrules, I know my last recommendation for these fell flat on its face sizing wise but these have a technical drawing in the description which shows them to be nearly 51mm across the top. Add into that 2mm ish of copper pipe & it puts them within the diy brazers grasp

Re: Special offers, sales and bargains
I have been having enormous difficulty in locating a source for peated malt,
Here is a link to a source for a grain which others here have used before. I have just ordered 2 x 25 kg:
https://homebrewshop.be/en/speciality-m ... 25-kg.html
If anybody else knows of a cheaper source I would be delighted to hear of it.
