HELP - Cant find

Postby RumJohn » Sun Apr 05, 2015 2:32 am

Gentlemen - and I use the word with all sincerity. A couple of weeks ago, maybe three, somebody posted something to do with using a brown sugar in a wash/mash for moonshine. I wish to get in touch with said individual.

I have looked and looked, but obviously in the wrong place. If whoever made that post reads this and recognizes what I am talking about, I would appreciate being steered in the right direction.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Cheers - RJ

What exactly do you need? This forum is full of info on brown sugar based washes and many members that are extremely knowledgeable about them. Ask your question and be ready for much help.

It's more likely to be a case of how HE can help.
RumJohn makes and sells Rum,and has done for years.

@RJ,The only brown sugar post I remember was from Anavarin, before christmas.

Thanks guys. I actually found what I was looking for under "What I Did Today" Posted April 1st, by edwatters, directly below a previous post of mine.

spent the day running a brown sugar and corn mash while working on my 37 chevrolet pro street rod. Today was my birthday so I will enjoy dinner with my children and grandchildren tonight.

Ed, if you would be kind enough to share, I would be interested to hear all you have to say about the why and how of your brown sugar and corn mash.

One question I would like answered is:- Do you get any rum like traces coming across.

I am running a 50/50 brown and white sugar and corn wash at the moment. I have not added brown sugar to a sugar and corn wash before.

Cheers - RJ
