You'll be ok, just watch the water flow on the 500, have you read the T500 section? and also the double distill....well worth it..

Sorry Easydrinker,
I have been loitering awhile, and have now stolen your joke name to join the board.
I have a Smart still, supplied by a commercial member of this site, which came with rubbish instructions.
Luckily I had read through some of the posts here before using it,and am getting good results.
I am already planning to build something bigger, time and money being the only obstacles.I think.Good to be here, much to learn.

Your luck you push Jedi Master, but welcome anyway!
Good to have you on-board.
Stick around,learn and have fun.
And hopefully share some of what you will learn,in a different discipline.
ATB
Robert.
Is this P winding me up?

Hello!
I am an experienced home distiller, and enjoy making all types of spirits. My still is a modular 3" LM - Pot. It sits on an electric beer keg boiler. I usually do sugar washes for neutral but I also have a relatively new 100 gallon electric mash/lauter tun (Combi-Tun) for AG.
Cheers
