I think so Mash, it only happened to me once and after that I used the distillers conditioner every time (stripping)

I too have had problems in the past with my Air Still puking when I used to use it for Stripping Runs.. Though I used Silicone Distilling Conditioner to get over this, should I ever do a strip in it again I think I might use 'Crisp & Dry' as suggested here.

In my Air Still I have a mixture of ceramic boiler enhancers together with an assortment of copper off cuts.

In my Pot Still I use only copper off cuts.
