Hey warrior, like Yourself
I'm in the uk. And started distilling about 6 months
ago, I went straight for the super reflux starter set from wineworks
and have learnt so much from it, there was a steep learning curve
at first but practice makes perfect and now I'm experimenting further
in the field. It depends on what u want to do, wait till September for the
beast or start from the super reflux/air still and move upwards and gain experiance.
I will be getting the t 500 when it comes out over here. Untill then, vodka
anyone??

yea hoppinmad I too thought about making goinbrokes2
still. But have searched hours on the Internet for a beer keg
. It seems u can buy one of a brewery , but I\'ll pass on that.
I\'m going to wait untill the t 500 comes to the uk.
Enjoy the classic brandy

Well it certainly looks like a handy \"kit\", as it\'s a PITA trying to source some of the parts here in the UK (ha! funnily enough, I\'ve got a barrel - a friend found it in a scrappie in the west midlands - pretty good nick, not many dents/scratches etc should be good for a 9 gallon still).
I think I\'ve located most of the copperware, but it\'s being a bit of a bugger trying to find some needle valves that will fit a certain size of pipe etc...... As for pipe sizes, it seems that the largest that\'s reasonably readily available is 54mm

Good luck Phantom, I could not imagine trying to build my own still - give me a soldering iron and I will burn down the house LOL.
Half of what you say above just goes over my head.
Give me a PC and I am the man you want to fix your problems (its my job) but building things, my god I missed that boat.
