t500 tequila run
If I want to run a agave mash through my t500 do I just remove the ceramics from the tower or do I remove the copper as well. And will I have to run it twice?
Don't yell at me because I'm a virgin distiller

Re: t500 tequila run
The T 500 is not really the right kit to run a wash where you want to carry flavour through
If you run it without ceramics i think you will get odd results with the cooling coil at the top plus even if you just run the cooling water through the condensor the high temperatures that will occur at the top will damage the plastic cap
What you need is a pothead for the boiler
Lots of posts on here about how you make one.Another member kindly made me one and I use it far more than the T500 reflux column
There was also talk from wineworks that he may be bringing them in soon from the manufacturer
