I've been on this forum for a while now....over that time I've PM'd a number of members, now when you get 50 messages in your inbox it's full and will not show any new messages, until you delete the old ones.

Now I like to hold on to them just in case I need to check back later. Over this weekend chewing the fat with Easydrinker this subject came up...Mrs Ice asked why not create a folder and move them over to it?...if only it was that easy... :D :D "women don't ya just love um"

This morning (with nothing to do) I checked my PMs to find I was at 49... :o ...so I started to think on what Mrs Ice had said..if it's possible to save old PMs, you can.

If you need too here tis.. ;D ...and it's so easy, go into messages, click

"Rules,folders & settings"

"Add Folder"...I named it "old text"...hit add...this will now show in the left hand panel

Then go back to "inbox"...select the PMs you wish to move over..scroll to the bottom of that page and you will see a box with.."mark/unmark". Click the right hand drop box, which will show your new folder..hightlight it....hit "Go"...click back to the new folder and hey presto there they are.

I now have a number of folders which should make life a little easier... ;) I can't see if the new folders will have the same limit of 50 PMs...time will tell.

Hope you find this handy...like I said we never stop learning.. ;)

ps...Don't tell the missus if you see her. ;) ;)

Nice Ice!
I wonder how many other clever things were thought of by people dodging the rain while on holiday? ;)

Robert.

Indeed, looks like another bad weather day for you tomorrow.
But Wednesday is looking good.
I hope you get some good weather while in my part of the world :D
