Christmas Ideas

Have just set 6ltrs sloe gin.
1ltr Plymouth Gin
1lb Frozen Sloe Berries
1 Star Anise
half Canamon stick
half Vanilla Pod
6 Cuberb Berries.
Will turn daily and add sugar to taste.
Have drunk all last years, if you have not
tried this its pure magic.
Will have 2ltrs for Xmas (sorry Mash) but know
it will improve and back in bizzz.

I am doing sloe brandy at the mo.
I might try some of this, but with a brandy base.

I make Sloe Gin every year Mash. The plan is to
drink this years next year if you know my drift.
I had 2ltrs saved for the winter months but an old
mate Frank loved the stuff. He had cancer and when
his son asked me I took both bottles to him.
He told me a stiff shot or two eased the pain and
it was better than my last brew.
Sadly Frank passed away Hopefully pissed and
smiling from a Sloe overdose.

I have considered making my final drink for the wake. Probably including a whisky. Lots of glasses and lots of smiles. Not a black, sad affair.

Only recentley had the converstion with younger friends that may have to do the do.
Told them to party over/about my life/death.
No Point in sadness in my opinion.
I am trying to live a life while I have one.

Just to bring this thread back on topic.
The Prestige brand Irish essence for a Bootleg Bailey's is currently ticking all the boxes in these parts of the world.
My nieces will be gob-smacked at what Santa brought this year.
About £3.50 a bottle, plus a little time.

Yes Mash they are cheap but only low ABV.
