Has anyone read the book from harvest to moonshine by byron ford,if so is it worth buying,im asking as i brought a copy of the home distillation handbook, which IMO was a total waste of money and dont want to chuck away £10 on it if it is of no intrest or help!

Not read either of those but I have got and enjoyed \"Moonshine\" By Matthew B Rowley.
It\'s informative and entertaining but it\'s not a how t do it manual. Currently £5.99 from Amazon. Thoroughly reccommend it.

just been looking on the W.H Smith website at distilling books it puts up quite a selection, one in particular looks intresting i might get a copy, its going on sale on the 27th november and called distilling whiskey and other spirits by bill owens & alan dikty, there is another one about making poteen in ireland that should be good,i once new an irish man back in the early eighties who was then in his 90ts,and told me several tales about when he was a lad back home and run a still,he use to go back to ireland a couple of times a year and used to bring me back a drop of poteen, good drop of stuff that was:)

Just bought \"The Alaskan Bootlegger\'s Bible\" from amazon about a fiver
very informative and has recipies for washes and flavourings.
Also shows how to make your own still about 5 different types.
There is one still which the heating element is a soldering iron!
Also quite a funny read with facts.

Depending on how you feel about file sharing, i suggest going to isohunt and searching for \"alcohol books\".
