Another "cheap" sugar post.

Just picked up 5 x 5kg bags of T&L cane sugar. £3.99 per 5kg makes it 79.8p per kilo.

All from the local Tesco's.

So maybe worth keeping your eye's open if you try your own local branch.

regards

P!

LOL, I got myself a bag to make my 2nd wash :) £3.99 here, maybe they should change it to 6kg bags so we dont need to bother with other bags too :)

25kg of sugar added a few mins to my daily 16 mile commuter... Pretty funny though :)

There is about 1,000 feet of climbing on that route. It was the easy way home!

It was funny to ride - there was that much weight on the back of the bike it felt like I was riding on ball bearings. About 2/3 of the way home there is a fast right/left at the bottom of a hill which is followed by a short climb so I wanted as much speed through the bends as possible so that I didn't have to work as hard on the climb. The bike was fine through the right hander but then wouldn't hold a tight line on the left (at about 40 mph..) and I ended up drifting out towards the white line :)

Good training though! Maybe I should try a beer keg on the back next ??

The outlaws also said that the local pound shop (one of the chain ones, but not sure which) was doing 2 x 1kg bags for £1.50/75p per kilo.

Also a good price.....
