Air/Pot Still Repair
Hello.
This is my first post on here so plese be kind. Can the Pot still be repaired??? Mine was left on by accident and for some reason the auto cut of did not work, the result was thick black caramel on the base of the pot, and its now not working. Reluctantly I have purchased a new one. I removed screws from the old pot and got it apart. The upper fan unit is still working (tried it on the new machine) The pot is now apart with the wiring askew but looks quite clean. Does anyone know the wiring diagram??? or anyone with spare parts ect. Would appreciate any help.
Best Regards, Bernard.

Hi Swine if you can get the heating elemant out a good plumbers merchant should be able to match it but if the auto cut out is faulty is it worth risking it, i would be tempted to wait and see if one turns up on ebay

I've got pics of the top half dismantled, but I never did the bottom part and I don't have one anymore. If you're able, some pics would be interesting!

Re: Air/Pot Still Repair
the blue wires are obviously the neutral return path from the element, but other white ones are the LIVE and must pass through the thermal breaker before feeding power to the element. So as the previous post suggests, start with the thermal reset switch.
