Credit crunch? Pah!

Postby Jimmy » Tue May 12, 2009 2:11 am

(just a bit of fun this one)
I just logged into my Google adsense account for the first time in ages, and I have finally made just over half what you need to get paid by them - in only a year and a bit... at this rate my money worries will be over! ;)
Cheers to anyone who has clicked on an advert on the main site, it\'s just possible I might get a pint out of it by the time I\'m 70! I thought this blogging stuff was supposed to be a money spinner... oh wait, you actually need to write things I suppose instead of just drinking and thinking about doing it...

So do you get to \"decide\" what add\'s you want to show on it ?
Plus, by the very nature of the \"hobby\", we\'re a bit cagey and it\'s probably that some wouldn\'t want to click an add because of the \"paper trail\" (IP trail is what I\'m referring too) that it leaves.....
As for \"credit crunch\", the only credit crunch I would worry about, is that the bloke at the local HBS tells me I can\'t have any more \"slate\" for packs of turbo, carbon and finings.....
Now that would be a worry ;-D

From memory it defaults to advertise related things to the site, but you can change it. clicking on the adds would not bother me at all, I don\'t think they are after us we dont make enough to warrent the cost of the investigation, what i have made tonight will last me a month easy - lol.

Which, while I don\'t think "they\'d" allow complete de-restriction of "home distillation" like Italy or NZ, I\'m sure there\'d be a potential for limited amounts like in Germany i.e. I believe it\'s 100 litres per person per annum..... though someone else might be able to confirm that.
Just imagine, unhindered access to all those materials and accessories that are currently hard to get your hands on.......
Damn it\'s good to dream sometimes isn\'t it.....
