A neighbour gave me two legs of pork over the weekend. So I have set it going to be sorano/parma ham.

Hope it goes better than last time, which turned into a big salty lump. Don't think I paid enough attention to the details.

Tonight I have two Gigots of pork marinading in the fridge.
Tomorrow they will spend a couple of hours in the good old fashioned pressure cooker.
Followed by a couple of hours in a low oven before friends come over to help eat them.
I fully expect them to taste as good as the last "pulled pork".
Sous vide, blow torches and liquid nitrogen in the kitchen is not for me.
Heston Blooming whatsit eat your heart out.
I will concede that the sous vide strawberries on tonights UK celebrity masterchef looked like the DB's.
I remain a Luddite.

Sounds grand.

...and +1 the pressure cooker - a long time friend of mine.

My basic cooking was a hit.
Happy Friends asking for doggy bags to take for the next days lunch. :)
