Hello. I\'m a new member! How exciting.
I can build you a still if you want one made. Old fashioned ones.
I have limited experience of fermentation, to date none of distilling.

Hi Dan, welcome!
Might sound a silly question, but how come you\'re offering to build stills if you have no experience of using them...?

Jimmy, Opus 27, thank you for the welcome.
Your question, jimmy, is an astute one, and I do apologise if I have been forward or indiscrete in touting myself in my first post.
To answer your question, I was offering to build old school pot stills, of the kind that one sees in old photos. I feel confident that I understand the science of that style of still as it is very basic, and I expect that historically those stills would have been made by people who were not distillers themselves.
The reason I am making the offer to make pot stills for others is that I made one for myself, and, aside from the fact that I do not, have not and will not break the law by using it, I don\'t really have the time or space to do so anyway. I did, however, enjoy making it, and if there is profit in making one for someone else, why not?
Best Regards,
Dan

Dan,
How about posting a picture of the one you made
