Essencia Carbon Filter after just one run?

Ive been doing the two run method (strip run then a spirit run) for the last few years now. However I'm wondering if the Essencia Carbon Filter would clean up the spirit enough after just the first run.

Anyone tried?

Do you mean to filter the strip without cuts? No, absolutely not. That is not what it does, what any carbon filter will do. Cuts are to remove components that you don't want to drink and which can't be filtered out. You could do cuts on each strip run, but a little thought experiment will show that is too much work.

The essencia is a great peice of kit and it can almost "polish a turd" when It comes to cleaning up neutral.

But to get the very cleanest tasting/smelling neutral, and not to mention safe to drink neutral!! You still need to make the effort to make good cuts.
