getting the airstill to cool down quicker ?
newbie with the airstill , its still very hot even a few hrs after use is there a way of getting it to cool down quicker so that it can be used again ? remove the top with oven gloves ? will i end up with hot liquid all over me ?

I normally just leave it an hour then lift the lid away from myself just in case.

Get yourself a pair of those coated safety gloves, they're only a few quid.
You should leave the still for 20 mins after switching off. Disconnect all cables then, using the gloves, lift the lid off gently and add cold water or ice back up to the 4lt mark. This will cool the contents enough to be able to pour the contents out.
