i totally agree but as i get older it's harder to keep track of what's what. #Alzheimer's

I guess it is whatever works for you, label or marker pen.As long as all is properly known or marked, you will be safe, and not drinking Rum flavored water.
That was a killer anecdote by the way.

My mate with the laser engraving machine hasn't sussed out the attachment for engraving bottles yet, he's done some work on flat sheets of glass and it looks good, he's busy making a living from his new machine so I'll have to wait a week or so to get a sample bottle done, we did engrave the anodising on the side of my e-cig battery for a laugh.

That's not bad Arf.
I banged out a quick label in a couple of minutes, and saved it with snipping tool,in order not to sign up.
I might use that again, thanks for the heads up.
Robert.

I like to label my bottles using a Dymo thermal label printer. Bought it new from eBay for about £40. They're only black and white but if you spend a little time, you can make a nice clean modern looking label.
Labelling is handy for me because I make the stuff at a much quicker rate than I can drink it so it ends up just sitting in a cupboard!!

I use mini card 'luggage' labels that hang around the neck of the bottle.
Cheap cheerful, rustic looking and easy to remove and reuse
