Grape harvest now in.

Postby Icefever » Sat Oct 18, 2014 5:14 am

We're lucky we have the grapes off a friends vine...The sun shone yesterday on Warwickshire and I collected all of this years grape harvest. Not as bountiful a crop as last year, I finished with 2 x 25 liter buckets full to over flowing, a large box 36"x24"x18", and another large box half full. The job today is to put them through the hydropress, photo's to follow later.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Of all the beautiful things in the world, only man can invent boredom

Wine, then re-ferment with some sugar and make grappa!
