Where's Brehaus sparkaloid gone ?

Went to order my usual kilo of the best finings and it appears that things have changed in Breuhaus Texas

Or my useless internet skills are letting me down

The lab that created Sparkolloid does not have a distributor outside continental U.S. and in a phone conversation with their sales division in 2012 they refused to ship any quantity, big or small, outside the U.S. they simply said they are not interested in the export market!!!!

Apparently they have more demand than they can handle from American wineries.

This leaves people like us with just one option to import it ourselves. In a less secretive environment a group buy of volume might be possible but the last time I bought Sparkolloid I bought 4.5 lbs which will last me a few years

Maybe some enterprising HBS will import and resell in this part of the world. I know Rick Morris in Brewhaus would be only too happy to oblige even if Scott Labs don't officially export outside the U.S.
