Re: for sale/wanted section
There were 3 of you guys after the T500 kit....the first guy to PM me came at 4.10pm yesterday....so it seems only fair to give him the first chance to buy...which I think he's keen to do.
Thanks guys.

Looking for an Essencia Filter. They seem to be sold out everywhere (maybe they are about to launch a new model?) Anyway, secondhand maybe the way to go. Anyone have one they don't want anymore?

Postby Robbo12 » Tue Mar 13, 2018 8:34 am
Hi all I've been given this 100 litre keg now I'm selling this don't no the value but open to sensible offers and you would need to collect it.

This post has been moved, rather messily, in an effort to keep some order on the board.

Looking for a gin still up to £200
Thinking of buying one of Alan Manning's gin still, but i'd still need to buy a pressure cooker and get a coupler flange to attach the column. Is anyone selling one that can provide me with a decent sip? Or if anyone builds them and make reflux still for a reasonable price, i'm all ears.
Best regards.

You would do MUCH better buying a pre-owned airstill.

I have a new one and don't like the amount of time to warm up or the end taste tbh. I was specifically looking for a copper reflux column like Alan's design. Could you make any recomendatins or explain why Alan's still is not preferable as a beginnier's product?
Many thanks

Re: for sale/wanted section
I have tried to tidy this thread a little, and moved some posts to the Distillation section, hope the posters involved are OK with that.

Found em..
https://www.homebase.co.uk/bar-be-quick ... ky_p406430
£2.50
NOTE the bags are half the size of JD Chips (you don't immed see that) and they are cut finer? Don't know if thats an issue or not.

I have a bag but am a wee bit loathed to use them as there is no mention of where or what they come from, also don't smell of whisky.

Thanks. I did wonder. Probably won't bother then. Best for the bbq.
