Interesting thread. My head starts very very slowly these days and then gradually builds up speed.

Ive found a UK outlet (not Argos I hasten to add lol) that sells the fuse, switch and most other parts including the head for £59 and the bottom inc heating element for £119...

EDIT: Just noticed they also have some interesting distillers for sale. Anyone familiar with the larger countertop ones on this site?

Fortunately I've managed to rebuild my head this evening (leave off, comedians!) otherwise I'd have been right in there.
