Used T500 to day for the 1st time
I used me T500 for the 1st time to day had a cupple of miss haps.
1ST I was sitting there for about a 1hr and notice that it wasnt get hot, power point wouldnt work..lol..lol..
2ND Was not anufe beer in my kegs...lol
After that all went well i think i got 3.5L out of my wash at 93%,and I throw out 100ml to make sure.
water temp was 59-61 took a bit to get the flow rigth.not much all to say outher than pritty easy to set up dune a lot of ready b4 hand and ask a few question on this site THANX FOR THE PPL THAT HELP COULDNT DUNE IT WITH OUT UR HELP THANX HEAPS....AND THIS SIT IS GRATE....BUNDYMAN.......

Congrats Bundy, sounds like you had some fun.
3.5 - 4 litres is about normal.
Next step is to get a pot head to put on the T500 boiler to strip your wash then run the low wines.

Stripping is a fast distillation where everything is collected and no cuts are made - doing this allows me to take 100+ liters of wash and reduce it to 30 litres of 40% ABV I can then charge the still with this and do a single spirit run with 4 times the volume of alcohol from running a wash. Its much more efficient use of my time - you collect a load of alcohol, and the product benefits from a double distillation (1 strip and 1 spirit run).
