hi all..

anyone got any tips on how to clean the inside of the column?

iv thought of a long bottle brush on the drill on a slow speed with reverse but whats the best thing to clean it with?

a bit of bleach maybe with it being stainless and then a swill with some hot citric acid to clean the copper.?

all ideas welcomed

al.

Be a bit wary of hot citric acid. maybe still cleaner or steriliser and a demijohn type brush
I suspect that compared to the surface area of the saddles the SS column won't affect flavour to much ( just guessing)
Just soaking my saddles overnight in boots denture cleaner and copper ones in lemon juice then reassemble and steam tomorrow hopefully that should do the trick

I was looking at the sterident type stuff today but they all had a minty
Smell so I didn't get any.

I use citric often so I'm ok with that.
