Liebig maybe for sale.
With VT having a successful sale of his T5, I got to thinking...
I may put my Liebig up for sale,
this is the one I use at the moment...

It's just the condenser..not the column yet..that may come up for sale later...allthou if the price was right for the whole setup.....I could be tempted.

That looks like a T500 lid Ice - am I right?
So if it's just the liebig you're selling, does that mean it would need a tailor made column to fit on?
Cheers!

It connects with a 15 mm compression elbow.

Cheers Ice. Since I don't have a clue what one of those elbow things is, I had probably best stick to my tiddly Still Spirits liebig for now.
If nobody else jumps on this, maybe you could be persuaded to sell it with the elbow thingy too...

I'm not sure what your thinking Seagull....is this the SS liebig your using??[/color]
You would have problems trying to fix it to an Airstill mate. This liebig is built for a bigger boiler.

If anyone does buy it, it would arrive with the "elbow thingy"

I'm with you now...that is an Alembic/Liebig..."a rose by any other name".
I think a 2" column with the screw fitting like Vino Tinto came up with, I also made one, would fit the copper dome....if it's strong enough.

Not sure....when you see the price of the SS kit...I'm open to offers on either the Liebig, or both the Liebig & the column....pm me and we'll go from there.

So this would fit straight onto a T500 boiler lid?

Re: Liebig maybe for sale.
I may have this WRONG,and Ice will be along shortly to correct me, but it looks to me that the column is brazed to the lid, and the lid therefore included?
