Boiler came from "Affordable Stills" on ebay.
Took about 3 weeks from the States to the UK.
Seller dealt with customs etc.
Invoice did give a detailed description so not sure what Costumes and Exercise people made of it at this end.

Who cares what the customs make of it? Perfectly legal to own a still here. Also legal to make biofuel without a licence. If you were thinking of doing something £naughty£, you'd have trouble making more than minimum wage and by the time you got close to that, tptb would have your card marked.

Don't flaunt it (irl). Don't sell it. It's the British way. :)

Put up a bookshelf near the still and keep a few books on How to Make Biofuel and a few on Distilling Essentials Oils ;D That should keep them satisfied ;)

Irrespective, a nice looking boiler.

Presumably gas fired so no leccy or connector problems ?

I think the opening at the bottom is for the heating element to be fitted with a tri clamp and gasket.

The way energy prices are these days I'd say using gas would probably be more expensive than electric plus you could only use it outdoors and in this part of the world you'd freeze your wobbly bits off doing that. :D

It is indeed a nice shiny bit of kit,but having chased the supplier down, decided to put it on the wanted, but not needed list.
With AM here,I would need to build a shed to keep the wobbly bits warm to run it on gas!

Robert.
