I know what you mean as a parent myself aged 48 with 2 girls aged 22 & 17... From seeing them grow up with their friends who have as you say blossomed into beautiful young ladies like my my daughters have.
The remark was just tongue in cheek jokey, nothing more..

Your quite right regarding the subject, I'm glad no offence has being taken....

I agree with you, there are some boundaries that should never be crossed, not even in jest.
