Sugar & Watercress wash???

Postby Icefever » Sun Apr 24, 2016 12:42 pm

Ok I think I've lost the plot.. :-\ Cuckco central next stop all change. :D

I'm trying a sugar wash with watercress in place of kale...I put the cress in the blender with a tablespoon warm water...and finished up with what looks like pesto.

Now I sit back and see what happens. ??? Googe what have you started?? :D

I will second that. I will be amazed if it does finish well and drink ok.

Googe what have you done indeed! My kale seeds are just showing.

I'll take you both up on that drink.. ;) but lets wait and see.

I thought about adding to a GS wash...but then my wallet kicked in and suggested a sugar wash for the first try as the cost is less if it goes t*ts up. :D the SG was 1.073..if it hits 1.000 that'll be around 9.5%.

It has a green krausen at the moment, but that will all drop out.

Took a reading today it's now 1.000...so that will do...it's now sat on the cold floor in the outhouse.
Hope to do a strip run over the weekend.
