My advice is to arm yourself with many collecting vessels for the spirit runs.

To be honest, the wife has gone on a diet which includes only drinking 3X35cc units a day, so I don't need to produce so much booze. She has went over to drinking V&T.

As a result I have more time to do things more sensibly, the first results are excellent with much improvement in taste.

Looks good for the future.

After a strip, the wash is waste.
If you have copper that needs cleaning, you can try dunking it in.
Otherwise,it is disposable.

If you're contemplating making Rum you could save some as dunder...otherwise down the drain.

this has been most informative for the product I aim to make, I thought that all I had to do was run the wash and et a result instantly.. whoa!! am I mistaken , I thought it "may" have needed a second run to distill to a reasonable safety drinking quality but your instructions confirm this.. many thanks and indeed I am lad I read this post
