Attempt to make a filter
Hi All,
I had a scrounge around in the scrap bin at work and have come up with this. Hopefully it will work lol. It has a 4” chamber leading to a 2” pipe that I will put the carbon in. I will be placing the mesh disc and some filter paper at the bottom to hold the carbon in place and to filter it out. At the bottom I have placed a sample valve to control the output volume. I have made the whole thing so that I can pull it apart for cleaning and big enough to put a couple of liters in and let it go. It is made out of 316 stainless steel and all seals are EPDM rubber.
Cheers Goog

I think that I have already admired your scrap bin in an earlier post.
Good to see you making use of it again.
Looks good to me.
Robert.

Yeah. If I had access to a scrap bin like that I would buy a tig welder.

It is one of the perks of working at a winery, others are the use of a very nice workshop and I guess wine would be another one if I drank it lol
