Mig welding SS
Hi...
A bit away from the normal topics but in a nutshell i do a bit with the welder (more than a bit...ive got an old landy)...has anyone got any experience of "miggin" stainless ?..
I know my turbo mig can handle ss wire and could see some uses for welding on my next build ..
I might just buy a small reel and disposable gas and give it a try on an old bowl or something..
Dont expect many returns on this one as its a specific post but i would like to hear of others experiences or advice for welding ss
Cheers
Rich

Re: Mig welding SS
I sealed some small vents on my boiler lid with a mig. It worked although I was lazy and use mild steel wire.
However I am a mig novice......
