xmas and gifts

This xmas a few folk will be getting hampers of homemade Jams, chutney's and pickles.
And the odd bottle or two.
All made with love and care and more thought than seasonal socks!
Maybe it is just me?

Yeah. Much nicer imo. Our chutters has the ability to dive in chrismas stockings, but have never done a chilli sauce that I think is good enough to give away.

I tried growing chillis once here, not a total waste as the kitchen that I had access to then was much bigger. and the chopped off plants finished doing the do indoors.
I like a semi-sweet chilli sauce. but am lazy enough to just blitz dried peppers.
