Shiny Copper

Once a month I get all thew equipment out and give it a good cleaning, inside and out. I think I get most pleasure from the copper parts which come up so beautifully since I discovered how to get the best and most sustainable finish on them.

I usually wait until I'm finished the month's stripping runs and I'm preparing for the spirit runs. I'm currently managing two spirit runs per month but the winter is coming and I may not be able to keep up this rate ::)

However, I have enough stock laid down at this point that I could put the still away until next summer and never have to buy a commercial spirit again.

Don't you just love this hobby ;D

I see he was silent on having to buff out fingerprints for that perfect shine... :D

Actually, because I don't like getting the smell of vinegar on my hands, I wear gloves when I'm cleaning my still, so there's no fingerprints to buff off :D :D :D
