i took some advise from YHB and used a 1 1/2 brass cap and cut it. but now the problem is finding a ferrule that i can attach to a keg with clamps and has threads on the other end so i can just twist on the liebig and run! any input, links, advice, anything at all would be nice. thanks in advance.. im lookin for something along the lines of this..

To the best of my knowledge I have only advised a screwed connector for use with a T500 type boiler, if you want to connect to a keg or a sanitary fitting then a different approach is needed and it may be easier to cut off the screwed connector and add a simple ferule.

However, if you are trying to end up with an adapter that will allow you to use either boiler, you could try using a 1.1/2” brass threaded plug and connect it to a pipe in the same manner as the cap that you have already done. That will give you a simple threaded joint add a 2" x 1.1/2" reducer and ferule at the other end and Bob's your uncle.
