Local HBS does not do turbo yeasts, looking to try my first VS wash.

Who is cheapest supplier for vodkastar / finining online?

Ebay has VS for 3.74 and Turboklar for 2.28 = £6.02 with P&P

Can anyone beat this from their supplier?

A tomato paste wash and some cheap wine findings from wilkinsons is he cheapest way I have found to make my wash. The TPW takes about 14 days to fully ferment out but dirt cheap to make and you can all the ingredients from your local supermarket :)

Why use a clearing agent when a few extra days does it for you ?
Its one less thing going into the wash.
I leave mine for upto 2 weeks before running

Ah, well last time I got a batch of VS, I got it from Ellie-Claire. I just PM'd her to ask how much I had to buy minimum for free shipping. It was something like 20 or so

And I've still got about half a dozen left (though I'm gonna put a couple of those on to ferment today.....)

Yup, Ellie-Claire is fast, friendly and helpful, gets my vote too. She sometimes pops in here when she's got a bit of free time - if you order from her, tell her we all said hello! :)

That bulk deal looks good.

What's the shelf life of VS?

I've just looked at a pack I got from Ellie last week - the "best before end" date is 03/2014.

I'll have used this long before then!!
