Distilling Booklets
I decided to assemble these booklets for beginners to find easily and make their learning experience a little easier.

A glass of whisky in Scotland in the thirties cost less than a cup of tea.

I'll save AM's modesty and make this a sticky.
Not that I agree with everything he says, but for the most part,he is on the money,or at least in the ball-park.
Robert.

Re: Distilling Booklets
Thanks for post on cuts,it has made things a lot clearer in my mind.
Have my jars ready and will do a run in a weeks time.
till now have been carefully doing a single run on my airstill
and was happy with the results,if a bit innocent to the real skills of distilling.
Why dont still spirits and the like tell you about such things???

They think that making it look easy folks won't think twice about buying one...
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Re: Distilling Booklets
Well I cant wait to see and taste the difference.
I had heard of cuts heads etc ... But thought it only applied to the big stills not my little Airstill.
Now I know different,still want a T500.
Just look at it, looks like a Saturn 5 rocket on the pad.
Also 25 liters in one go.
