The legs look very short, we are not talking sputnik

Lol. Reminds me of the song.. "bell bottom girls"
We distill some essential oils. This keeps the rosemary, lavender etc away from the heat source, preventing off smells in the product.

They are much better with long thin legs IMO.

Mash being serious for a min.
If the legs are short and it
sits on the bottom of the boiler.
Im assuming the botanicals sit on
top, but you cant get enough
neutral in to make a descent run.
Would like to use T500 for Gin.
I think with reflux column on
and run hard would produce good
quality and quantity Gin.
Use sputnik and S.S. for Gin,
works well ,but want to do
larger batches.

THis is not it... This is for essential oils. Completely different process.
The spuntic works by getting the botanicals in the vapour path. So if you want one for the T500 get a big seive that almost fills the boiler (like it does on the SS) and put it on 3 legs. The idea is to make sure as much of the vapour as possible goes through the botanicals and cannot pass it by.
All put another way. Build the same thing as the sputnik only bigger.
The other good news is that basket recipes are linear scalable. So if you did one litre and now want 10 litres - it literally is everything x 10. There is no need to reinvent/rrecalibrate the recipes.

Mash, are you mixing up Bell Bottom Blues and Fat Bottomed Girls, two separate songs?
At the price of this lead article, I would want it to land on Pluto
