I was just wondering the other day about how you were getting on with the SPP gizmo, I'm sure many here will pay handsomely for such a fine product ;D

No matter what I do the linear cutter eventually jams. I have been waiting for a friend to deliver a more robust linear slide but he has a recently aquired hot girlfriend so is pretty crap as a friend right now. Understandably. Also bigswede had the same problem with his precision engineered version so it may be a futile approach. I just have that urge to make it work.

If my mate is crap for much longer then I will give up and make a different mechanism.

Apologies for long silence. Winter hibernation set in.

Mate did indeed let me down on the slide.

About to restart on a new cutter design.

Want to make it fit the same spot if possible.

Just finishing power controller first. Nearly done that.

No real progres to report but I have caught a break on sourcing some 1cm thick tool steel for the body of the new cutter design. Even bigger old blades than the ones I am using for the cutter blade.

Rusty but a good slab of tool steel that will clean up.

When I get enough spare focus of mind I'll try and make some more progress now I have been lucky enough to stumble across free tool steel.

Thank you to any of you out there willing me to finish this and adding your collective wills to my serendipity engine. I'm not crazy my mother had me tested ;)
