Has anyone made one recently? Had anyone find a good supplier of baskets?

No, I'm on the lookout for one though, I can only confirm that a Morrisons sieve is slightly to large, will take measurements before I next go searching.
In the meantime I have the airstill infusion basket and whilst small I've only been putting through 500ml of nuetral at a time to play about with recipes.

I lucked out with a random purchase from a £1 shop a few years ago.
I cut the handle off and it fits perfick.

I made a sputnik and used it lots, but ended up using the airstill infusion basket. It's fine, personally I don't think you need to change. wrap the botanicals up in muslin and there is no issue of mess or bits going in the pipes. Plenty big enough for enough botanicals for 2 litres of neutral too.
