It's the Lidl details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.

They are planning to build another Lidl near us. It's only a small site, so it's going to be a Lidl Lidl ::)

Many many, many many!

£1 per 2 kilo in Morrisons ...has been for some time now.

The difference between cane and beet sugar........even in its raw state, The is no CHEMICAL difference. Their chemical make up is exactly the same. I’ve done blind tests and have yet to find anyone who can tell the difference in taste.
Cork sniffery :)

I think your right H2rpo there seems to be no difference
in taste or fermentation to me. I just buy the cheapest.
We do use quite a lot of it guys, can anyone shed some
light on this.
I do get some odd looks in Tescos etc when you have 50 or
so kgs of sugar in the trolley, oh and bottle of Daddy's
sauce for my Bacon rolls ;D

My standard responses to checkout persons, regarding large amounts of sugar in my trolley are, depending upon the season...
"Making Jam or chutney",or "going to try this home-brew malarkey", or "feeding the Bee hives" (which I do not have, but gives me instant Kudos)!
Have stock answers available to save face. ;)

6 bags in the trolley every week at Aldi. Operators assume I am doing beer and wine, and occasionally ask what I am making this week.
